On behalf of all of us at Supergiant Games, thank you for being with us during what's been a truly extraordinary year. Knowing it was so difficult for so many, we're left feeling immensely grateful, and wanted to share a few parting thoughts as we look ahead to the new year.

Hades: Your Game of the Year!!!
The brunt of our efforts this year surrounded the development of our rogue-like dungeon crawler, Hades, which launched on Nintendo Switch, PC, and Mac on September 17 after close to two years of development in Early Access. We've been blown away by the response, as Hades has become our fastest-selling, most highly acclaimed game yet.
It's been selected as 2020's Game of the Year by IGN, Polygon, TIME Magazine, and The Washington Post, among others. It earned Best Action Game and Best Indie Game at The Game Awards, Best Action Game from PC Gamer, and Critics' Choice and Best Indie Game at the Golden Joystick Awards. It's also one of the most critically acclaimed games of the year (and our most critically acclaimed game ever), according to Metacritic and OpenCritic.
Hades is even in the running for Game of the Year in The Steam Awards! This really means a lot, so if you enjoyed the game, we would really appreciate your vote.

If you've played our third game, Pyre, then maybe you'll know what we mean when we say mere distance cannot separate our spirits. While we couldn't celebrate our good fortunes in person this year, in some ways the circumstances brought us closer together... not just with each other, but with our community as well.
Looking ahead, we're excited to be able to stick together as a team, and keep making games. While it's too early to say what's next for us as yet, we're really looking forward to figuring it out. For now, from all of us, we wish you a safe, restful, cozy, happy holiday season, and all the best in the coming year.
